The following instruction will assist you in creating, modifying, or removing a personal greeting for one or any of the Availability States (Available, Meeting, Out of Office, etc.)

Using Mitel Connect (Easiest Method)

  1. Open Mitel Connect, Click your name, then click the "Vertical Dot" icon
, then Preferences

  2. Select Call Routing


  3. "Available" is selected by default. Click the drop-down box to choose routing options for any availability state
 (Available, In a Meeting, Out of Office, etc.)
  4. If desired, Start wizard to create more conditions for the selected state, or simply click the "Record" button
   

  5. Record using the red record button. (Click Record New Greeting button first if greeting was previously recorded.)

    1. Choose to record from the desk phone or using your computers microphone
    2. You can review your recording using the green play button
  6. Click Save once you are satisfied with the greeting
       
  7. Click Next to choose whether a caller my leave a voice mail or only hear the greeting
 or Save again
  8. You may also program a forward number and have the caller press '0' to forward the call
  
 
 

Remember to change your phone's availability state as needed. A short video below demonstrates the process.

 

Using Mitel Voice Menu System

  1. Touch the Voicemail button on your desk phone and press Call VM from the soft button OR Dial (435) 797-0808 from any phone and follow the prompts
  2. Enter your password, then press #

    1. The defualt VM PIN is 1234
    2. If you have forgotten, you may request to reset the PIN
  3. Follow the guided voice prompts for the function you desire to complete

Auto Attendant greetings, Calling Trees, or Hunt Groups

For issues with an Auto-Attendant (phone tree) Calling menu, please contact the IT Service Desk who will put you in touch with a Phone System Administrator.
