When will I lose student access?
Students have a 30-day grace period after each semester where they will continue to get access to USU IT resources (Box, BlueZone/eduroam, VPN, computer labs, etc...)
- Students are required to be registered for 2 semester per year (Fall and Spring), summer is optional, to be considered an active student and retain access to USU IT resources.
- Students who are registered for the following Fall semester are granted access to USU IT resources throughout the Summer, prior to their attendance or return to USU.
- Students who have graduated from USU may request to convert their USU Box account to a Personal Box Account. Note: This is only available to "graduating students" and may not be converted for university employees. To do so, you must complete the Convert Box Account upon Graduation form.
- Student access for @USU Email remains for three (3) years from the most recent registration end date.
GRADUATE STUDENTS:
- Graduate students who have completed their course work do not qualify, under University policy, as being a 'student' and therefore do not receive access to USU IT resources.
- To maintain access to USU IT resources the Graduate student must be granted a "grace semester" as detailed in Graduate Students: Grace Semester.
