I lost my phone, tablet, or Security key, what should I do?

We encourage you to have more than one device set up so you have a backup plan for authentication if you misplace your device. This might include enrolling a tablet, such as an iPad, in addition to your phone.

If multiple devices were setup for authentication you can access the webpage to remove the lost device by going to usu.edu/mfasetup

Once you are at the page, select Delete on the device that has been misplaced. 

If you didn't have a secondary device setup for authentication you will need to call the IT Service Desk at 435-797-HELP (4357) to have it removed, and for help setting up another device for authentication.
