What is the USU VPN?
USU's Virtual Private Network (VPN) server creates an encrypted stream between your computer and campus to provide you with a secure, remote connection to the university network. Authorized users can access the university network from anywhere (home, hotel, conference, etc.) with a secure internet connection.
Download and run the VPN

2.) Click 'Add a new connection'
3.) Type in a name for the connection
4.) Put in the server: https://sslvpn.usu.edu
5.) Go to the bottom right corner of the screen or your Chromebook settings (Where you would go to choose a Wifi network).
6.) Click on the newly named VPN network
7.) Enter your A# as the user name and USU Strong password as the password to log in.
