The eduroam network allows USU students, faculty and staff to seamlessly obtain Internet connectivity at participating institutions around the world. Find available locations with this interactive map.
MacOS eduroam setup instructions
Follow these steps to configure your device to connect to the eduroam network.
NOTE: Only recent versions of macOS are supported. If you encounter errors, please make certain you are on the newest version of macOS.
- In a web browser, visit https://eduroam.usu.edu
- Provide an easily identifiable name for your device and click "Sign In"
- Click Sign In and be redirected to the USU sign in page
Log in with your A-Number and Strong password
After you enter your password complete the multifactor authentication. If you haven't setup your Authenticator yet, click here for more help. - Click "Agree and continue"
- Save the .mobileconfig file. You may need to click this notification in the top right of your screen. for it to show up in your files.
Select "Allow" if prompted that the file could harm your computer - Note the prompt and open System Preferences -> Profiles (Profiles may be found in Privacy & Security)
- In Profiles, click Install and Confirm Install once or twice more
- Enter user profile password and click OK
- Make sure to select Eduroam from list of available Wifi Networks
- Please remove/forget the USU-guest network from your device to ensure a stable connection to Eduroam
