Windows 10/11 eduroam security certificate removal instructions

Follow these steps to remove the eduroam network configuration from your device.

Images are of Windows 10, however no locations or names have been changed in Windows 11

 

1. On your Windows device, press the Windows key and type 'internet options' then click on Internet Options.

 

2. Select the 'Content' tab, then click on 'Certificates'

 

3. Under the 'Personal' tab, find your A-number, highlight it, then select 'Remove'

 

4. Close the Internet Options window. Press the Windows key and type 'Wifi settings' then click on 'Wifi Settings'

 

5. In Wifi Settings, find and click on the 'Manage known networks' link.

 

6. Click on the eduroam network, then click on Forget.

 

7. Reboot your computer. Once it is rebooted, you will have successfully disconnected from eduroam.
