Eduroam: Disconnecting Your ChromeOS Device and Removing Security Certificates

The eduroam network allows USU students, faculty and staff to seamlessly obtain Internet connectivity at participating institutions around the world. Find available locations with this interactive map.

 

ChromeOS eduroam and Security Certificate Removal

Follow these steps to remove the eduroam network configuration from your device.

 

1. Click on the status bar in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen then click on the settings gear towards the top of the resulting grey box.

2.  Select Network from the menu on the left then click on Wifi. From there, click on 'Known networks'

 

 

3.  Find 'eduroam' on the list (BLUEZONE is shown here as an example but be sure to select 'eduroam') and select it.

 

4.  Click on 'Forget'

 

5.  You have successfully disconnected your device from eduroam.
