Use these instructions when your USU-guest connection asks you register your device each time you connect with your iOS device running iOS 14.0 and later.
This issue does not affect the eduroam network. Consider configuring your device to use eduroam by visiting https://eduroam.usu.edu.
About This Issue
To communicate with a Wi-Fi network, a device must identify itself to the network using a unique network address called a media access control (MAC) address. For privacy reasons, your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Apple Watch can periodically change the MAC address it uses with each Wi-Fi network. At Utah State University, our network security is dependent on an unchanging MAC address to authorize access to the USU Network.
