MacOS Eduroam setup instructions
Follow these steps to configure your device to connect to the Eduroam network.
NOTE: Only recent versions of macOS are supported. If you encounter errors, please make certain you are on the newest version of macOS.
- In a web browser, visit https://eduroam.usu.edu
- Provide an easily identifiable name for your device and click "Sign In"
- Click Sign In and be redirected to the USU sign in page
Log in with your A-Number and Strong password. You will be prompted to authenticate with Microsoft MFA. - Click "Agree and continue"
- Save the .mobileconfig file
Select "Keep" if prompted that the file could harm your computer - Run the downloaded SecureW2.mobileconfig file
- Note the prompt and open System Preferences -> Profiles
- In Profiles, click Install and Confirm Install once or twice more
- Enter user profile password and click OK
- Make sure to select Eduroam from list of available Wifi Networks
- Please remove/forget the USU-guest network from your device to ensure a stable connection to Eduroam
