Eduroam: Connecting Your Windows 10 Device

The eduroam network allows USU students, faculty and staff to seamlessly obtain Internet connectivity at participating institutions around the world. Find available locations with this interactive map.

 

Windows 10 eduroam setup instructions

Follow these steps to configure your device to connect to the eduroam network.

1.  In a web browser, visit https://eduroam.usu.edu, and click "Agree and continue"

2.  Your download should begin automatically.  Once the download has completed, please run the application.
A user access control security prompt may ask you to allow the program to run.

 

3.  This application will walk you through configuration, click Next.

 

4.  A browser window will launch for authentication.

 

 

5. Provide an easily identifiable name for your device and click "Next"


6.  If you are in range of the eduroam network, you will be connected automatically.  Click Continue to complete the process.

 

7.  Your configuration is now complete.  Click Done to exit the application.

 

8.  You may also close the browser window that was used for authentication.



9. Please Forget or remove the USU-guet network on your device. This will ensure stable service as occasionally, the USU-guest network may disrupt your Eduroam connections.

1. Click the Wifi network icon in the task bar
2. Click "Manage known networks"
3. Click the network and click "Forget"
